"Orble":

http://www.orble.com/

Orble is a blog site by On Topic Media. You can monetize your blogs.
Unfortunately, you must always be an active member or you risk losing the ad setup and other members might get to take over all of your posts.

Because of this policy, I may or may not return to Orble.

Vimu is a social bookmarking website by On Topic Media. While not as popular as Twitter, you can monetize your links.

My profile is not available; Vimu appears to have been transformed into a discount club website owned by On Topic Media.

"HubPages":

http://www.hubpages.com/

HubPages is a website that is about almost anything that is educational and informative. I began writing for this website in March 2007 which is one of my earliest projects. You can always monetize your posts on hubpages, but I learned about this website from http://jobs.problogger.net/ which HubPages occasionally submits a job listing to. Writing to HubPages was a priority, even resigning as an active member from TVRage due to internet problems. I ended up online almost every day regardless...and I was posting on HubPages until August 2007 when I enrolled at THAT college and decided I would be far too busy. My account is open on HubPages and my ...hubs... are still around, nearly 28 hubs with one unpublished. The reason was so the hubs can get web traffic.

In October 2007, I got dial-up internet against my better judgement. It was not my choice. I became an active member on TVRage again and no matter what, I will always be active on TVRage. July 2008 I still had dial-up internet but I moved again and this time I could take care of myself instead of being forced to take care of other people. I recieved an email from HubPages and the next thing I knew, I returned to HubPages. It was once again a priority, even to the point that there were times when I was writing and did not have a working mouse, a working keyboard, a computer needing a RAM upgrade, and of course ...dial-up related problems. I published 48 additional hubs including the one I wrote in 2007 but had not published. The total is 76 hubs. My traffic was not perfect and I am not the best Hubber, (ugh) and left again in November 2008. In October 2008, I found several other websites, including Squidoo.

The hubs are still there, and every once in a while, I will log into HubPages to officially approve comments for example, but not to write any more hubs.

I have been a member for many years, which I have recieved an award for. I also recieved an award for publishing over 50 hubs...and this one I am delighted to know about: My hubs have at least 100,000 views. Also, I have dozens of followers and some of them have rated my hubs with categories such as "Useful", "Awesome", and "Funny".

I have felt for a while that with the 76 hubs, The HubPages website has been one of my largest projects. They can make HubPages as interesting as they'd like to, but I do not want to be known for mainly working on HubPages. I decided to focus on other websites, but this takes a while when you have numerous other goals to have accomplished.

I am not relying on this website for information until they include Amiga OS, MorphOS, and AROS in their forums. Perhaps in one category grouped together in the OS group and another, Commodore, Amiga, Pegasos, Genesi, A-cube, and A-eon and perhaps all of them grouped together...in the hardware category in the hardware group.
